In “Queer Immigrants,” Asafe Ghalib photographs members of the LGBTQIA+ community within a space of trust and mutual recognition. Rendered in evocative tones, the images echo archival memory while remaining grounded in the present. Each portrait becomes a quietly compelling site of encounter—where identity is neither fixed nor performed, but gently revealed.
